Some of the most visited outdoor tourist hotspots of Quebec are in close proximity to highly visited national parks.
How can the protection of the local wolf population be assured while continuing to accommodate the multitude of tourists?
Establish strategies and and specific recommendations to promote the development of tourist activities with respect to the protection of wolf populations in two of Québec's national parks (Mont-Tremblant and Aiguebelle).
Review of the scientific and technical literature concerning the harmonization of wolf populations and tourist activities.
Provide recommendations specific to the two national parks targeted in the project.
